Now that you’ve watched that, here’s what my mentor said about newspapers.
First of all, older people READ newspapers. Advertising in the newspapers still works.
Especially if you’re marketing: fibromyalgia, neuropathy, diabetes, numbness and tingling in the hands and feet, plantar fascitis, foot pain, knee pain, weight loss, etc.
You pick the niche, and if it applies to older people, the newspaper is still a great resource.
Some doctors poo poo this, but I know that the ones that don’t are the ones that are making the most money off the neuropathy patients, fibromyalgia patients etc.
They’re in there, and the bigger ADS sell more than the smaller ADS.
BIGGER is BETTER if you can afford it.
The real secret is this.
If you run a full page AD, which can get very expensive, with a vertical half page, you can get better results than you can with a full page AD. How? It’s all in the numbers, the fold of the newspaper, etc.
One of my clients is getting a huge return on his investment with neuropathy. He’s getting at least ONE new patient per day, and sometimes FOUR new patients per day. That’s four new patients a day. Not bad for a small AD in the newspaper.
