So here’s the big question for you today Doc.
Why send out “email” birthday card, as well as a real birthday card?
Because people WILL:
1. OPEN IT
2. They remember who you are
3. They’ll tell someone that you did this for them
4. It just feels good to send them to people that may or may not get one otherwise.
I told you that in the email I sent.
Well think about it.
If you want to make someone feel SPECIAL, you have to go that extra mile.
Here’s what I suggest you do.
Get a real personalized postcard, like the one I hand draw.
Then put their name on the card, and send it to all the people that have birthdays that week.
Then send them an email as a follow up.
BTW, did you get the Birthday Card I sent you?
That way if something happens and they don’t get it, they still have your offer for a FREE MASSAGE, or 50% off a cervical pillow, or something else that people like in your office that they always want. And Doc, don’t give away FREE ADJUSTMENTS. It’s okay if you’re doing that in addition to the Birthday Card and Massage, etc., but just not the Birthday Card with a FREE ADJUSTMENT alone.
Do something outrageous and something that they would talk about.
Here’s another little tip.
~Find out the mayor’s birthday and send him a card and a free massage.
~Get the counsel people in your town and send them birthday cards.
~Send policemen, firemen, etc. BIRTHDAY CARDS.
~Anyone that you want to get to know, SEND them a BIRTHDAY CARD.
SIDENOTE: If you want one tailored just for you, call me up, and we can do some really cool cards that you take to the PRINTER, then just write their name with a Sharpie on the card, and drop it in the mail.
Simple to do and people will notice them and they’ll know who you are.
That’s the tip for the day.
P.S. It’s really important that you make your patients feel important. I don’t know about you, but for the most part, people are busy. My kind of marketing will help you STAND OUT, and be thought about. If you do the traditional crap, you’re going to get traditional results.
