I told you a lot in the last post, so today, I’m going to finish that up.
Here’s a game changer.
By EXERCISING WILL POWER in just one area of your life, it affects all the others as well.
These are not my findings or a rant.
These findings came from Megan and Ken, so pay attention.
Megan and Ken went on to find out that the test they did proved: that several things improved including money management, and study habits (surprisingly, this also caused people to drink less coffee, smoke fewer cigarettes, and eat LESS JUNK FOOD).
In his book, “The power of habit”, Charles Duhigg refers to these things as KEYSTONE HABITS.
What he meant was when willpower is strengthened in ONE AREA of your LIFE… it spills over into everything else including what you eat and how productive you are at the office.
So don’t have too many goals and resolutions.
Focus on the POWER OF ONE – it will build your willpower muscle, and will power is probably one of the strongest determinants of your SUCCESS as a doctor.
If you don’t believe me, look up ‘marshmallow study’ and you’ll discover that starting as young as 4 years old, those who could delay gratification the longest ended up with far higher test scores later on.
Are you getting what I’m saying here yet?
You figure this out, and you’re going to knock over your BAD HABITS like dominos standing up in a single line.
That’s if for today.
I’m getting ready to do some webinars ON unique postcards, Pure Sea Veg, my latest product for everyone in the family, and how to write letters that get results. So if you’re thinking about making more money and seeing more patients, make sure you’re checking this site at least once a week. It’ll be worth your time.
