This is going to be an interesting post I believe.
I’m going to talk about three different things and try and tie them all into you promoting your business during the holidays.
And just for giggles and grins, I’m going to throw something in, just to get your creative juices flowing.
There are two kinds of doctors.
There are those doctors who make excuses.
And there are those doctors who take full responsibility for their actions and results and don’t make excuses under any circumstances.
The doctor’s/people who make excuses don’t start that way when they’re born.
You know that already though.
Well here’s something else you might want to chalk up to you being a smart person.
No one is ‘born talented’ at making excuses.
Nope, doesn’t happen that way.
But you know as well as I do that over the years people… learn to get out of things.
It could be a traffic ticket, a divorce, a business agreement, a contract for a house. You name it, they will try and get out of it if they are that way.
One thing I’ve found out over the years. People like that learn how to blame the weather, their parents, their teachers, the system, their location, their assistants, the phone company, the electric company, their cable company, their patients, their advertising, their circumstances, the chewing gum-yeah, pretty much anything that can deflect the blame from them being responsible.
And give them the excuse they need and you’ll make them very happy.
And then there are those who don’t make excuses for what is going on in their lives.
Or most likely, they’d rather not make any excuses for anything.
Tip: Everyone in this world has difficulties. Some worse than others.
Some days unfortunately, we just feel like making up some kinds of excuses.
And when we do that, we will most likely start mumbling, but then we’ll stop before that mumbling pushes itself into a large, deafening sound. Then we get the job done.
Which type of person are you?
Now I told you I was going to tell you how to promote yourself during the holidays.
I’m going to make this super simple.
Give something away that will give them a UNIQUE EXPERIENCE at your office.
Give them a turkey.
Give them a pumpkin pie.
Do something out of the ordinary.
No one likes ordinary.
A lot of people think advertising is marketing.
Marketing is getting people to pick up the phone, and call your office.
Advertising is usually someone telling you that you have to do an ad, over and over to actually START getting some calls. When you’re doing any type of advertising, you’re going to have to remember that most people don’t know anything about advertising except selling you AD space.
That is not marketing.
So how can you make more money marketing yourself during the holidays.
You give away a turkey, and when you hand them the TURKEY, you give them an envelope.
In that envelope … is four tickets/coupons.
Those tickets are good for them attending one of your workshops.
If you give them four coupons – you give them coupons they can redeem at your office for certain niches or therapies.
If you have the warm laser like I recommend, you can give them four coupons for a session each. Only catch about those coupons is they can only be redeemed by a NON PATIENT.
Essentially you are asking for a REFERRAL. If they think you’re special (because you gave them a turkey), they’ll give them to people that will most likely make an appointment. When that happens, you’re in like Flint.
SIDENOTE: I’ve talked about Ronda Rousey in my emails and I just have to tell you this. She’s doing a great job at marketing herself. She’s not liked by everyone, but you shouldn’t ever WANT everyone to like you… because that is not realistic. It’s not.
Ronda says what she wants to say.
Ronda is determined to be a super star, and right now, I’d say she is 99% there.
Ronda wants to be a movie actor, which she is.
Ronda wants to beat anyone who comes up against her, and she has.
People usually like the underdog, but anyone that fights Ronda is an underdog, guaranteed.
If you’ve never watched her fight, never saw her intensity, never saw how she’ll do anything to win, watching her fight on pay per view is one the smartest things you could do if you like people, and you want to learn how to become a super star.
I believe Ronda Rousey is only about 29 years old.
She’s on her way.
I just hope she’s smart and knows where and how to save her money so when she’s not the World Champ, she’s still living high on the hog.
I’ve written a lot here in this post, but you know what?
It’s just my thoughts and feelings.
You may not like them.
Then again, you may really like what I tell you.
Either way is good with me.
I just want to help the doctors and people that really want health, wealth, and knowledge.
