This is going to be difficult, but I’m going to work through it.
First off, here’s another great emotional video.
Watch it before you read this email.
Okay now that I’ve shown you another good video, (an emotional video) here’s the story today.
I’m watching Netflix and I am watching Agent Carter, a spin off of Captain America.
It’s all about this woman, Steve’s lover (Captain America is Steve) and how she becomes this kick ass agent working for the SSR.
It’s in the finale of the first season.
She’s telling this man, who’s insulted that she’s not getting the right recognition for her saving thousands of lives, it doesn’t matter.
Here’s her exact words.
“I don’t care what they think about me. I know my value. Anyone else’s opinion really doesn’t matter.”
What’s important about what she said was this.
“I know my VALUE. Anyone else’s opinion really doesn’t matter.”
So if someone says you are NOT A REAL DOCTOR, doesn’t accept your care for whatever reason, tells you they’re leaving you as their health care provider for the doctor down the block, or something along those lines, just remember Peggy Carter’s words. “I know my value. Anyone else’s opinion really doesn’t matter.”
