What can you do to get more patients in the front door
If you’re reading this, the headline What can you do to get more patients in the front door must have grabbed your attention.
Well don’t worry.
Once you read this short little post, you’re going to know at least one way you can get more people to either call your office, or just stop in to find out who you are and how you can help them.
Sometimes you’ll find that I write fast. When I do, I make mistakes because I actually write better than I speak, and I really don’t speak all that bad. I was just listening to this man who is a legend in marketing and how to write sales copy and he’s trying to tell us via a PPT (powerpoint) webinar type of thing how to do this, and he’s a terrible speaker. Great writer, terrible speaker.
I guess we all can’t be good at everything, and that includes me.
So anyway, What can you do to get more patients in the front door?
Okay, these are going to be simple things.
1. you give talks on anything that bothers people
2. you make sure you have plenty of business cards to hand out and you make sure that you give out at least 20 business cards per day
3. you get up every morning with one goal in mind. To get at least one new patient to call your office that day. That’s how focused you need to be on getting a new patient coming in your front door everyday. If you go to the office and there are NO new ones scheduled, you make it happen. You or the staff get on the phone and you call around and you start talking to existing patients. You ask them how they’re doing, then you tell them, “Mary, hold on just a minute.” PAUSE. Then get back on the phone. “Mary I just realized that someone cancelled today at 5:30 PM. I know you know a lot of people. Do you know anyone that is having health problems I can help with. Doesn’t matter if it’s a headache, a back pain, or carpal tunnel. I’d like to help them and if you can call them and tell them I have an opening today, you can tell them that you got them a consultation set up with me at no charge. That way you look good, and I can hopefully help them with their health issue. Would you do that for me?”
That’s really all it takes.
You will not receive… unless you ASK. That’s biblical by the way, so if you don’t want to get out of your comfort zone, don’t. I can’t help you if you’re not willing to do something. I find so many doctors struggling, but I find out so many of them struggle because they don’t know what to do, won’t do what they need to do, or are afraid of doing something that might fail.
Just the facts doc, just the facts.
Well I’ve written over 500 words, so I’m going to sign off and get back to writing emails, ads, and brochures plus some really cool postcards for my clients.
I could go on and on about a lot of things, but let’s just say you’re the only one that needs to change to get better results. If you put your heart and soul into getting busier, you will. GUARANTEED.
All the best to you doc.
P.S. If you have an issue, and you can make it something I can answer in one email, send me an email. You are a chiropractor, and you should be doing chiropractic marketing, as much as you can. If you are not marketing, you’re missing out on the people who need you, want your services, but just don’t know about who you are, where you’re located and what you can do for them.
P.P.S. I had one client who doesn’t even have a website yet. He’s slightly behind if you know what I mean. When you do a website pack it with videos so people know WHO you are, and what you DO.
