What are you doing for your patients this week?
I mean what I’m really asking you is this.
What are you doing for your patients that will get you some traction when it comes to getting referrals and more new patients?
I’ve talked about this repeatedly, and for some reason, I guess you could chalk it up to human nature, very few doctors get out of their comfort zone and start doing something that will generate more income.
One thing I can tell you, if you do not take care of the details, the small things, you’re not going to be AS successful as you could be.
You might try and come up with something really good, but if you’re phone is overloaded with messages, or you’re not letting people know where you are because your sign isn’t up, or it was damaged by a storm etc., what are you doing?
Here’s the deal.
It’s already April 1, 2015.
That’s a 1/3 rd of the way through the NEW YEAR.
What are you doing?
You have to make the right moves, day in and day out to make sure that you’re going to capture your share of the market place that you’re looking for. Let me be a little more blunt. Not everyone is looking for a good chiropractor. In fact, there is only a small percentage of people that are looking for you, and what you do, so the more you’re in front of them, the better your chances of getting them as new patients.
If I were you, I’d be working on something very special for Easter. I know that may not seem like something you can do now, but if you’re reading this and it’s already past Easter, start thinking about what you can promote for next month. Or the month after that.
To win the game, you’re going to have to be on your game.
One of my secrets is to go to other businesses and find out how they’re promoting themselves. If I can get a good idea say from Costco, Sam’s, WalMart or someone like that, I will take their idea and modify it so it works for my office.
Simple to do, but most doctors don’t get the concept of swiping something, using it as a template, then applying it to their office. This is a great technique and one that is used by almost 100% of all the marketers who consider themselves direct marketers. It works on the internet as well.
P.S. I love marketing, but if you’re going to be big, you have to promote constantly. Drop the ball and your stats will go DOWN. When stats go DOWN, it effects everyone, even the doctor.
